AFL legend Eddie Betts has shared a confronting video of a person driving past his home and yelling racial slurs at his children and friends.

The security footage shows a white car slowly driving down the road before someone in the car yells out.

The former Crows player posted the vision last night, saying "Aboriginal kids deserve to be able to play safely, free from racism and abuse over the fence".

The person inside the car was spotted yelling outside the home of Eddie Betts. (Nine)

"If you know who this is please let me them know that I'm open to having a chat about how much this hurts our kids."

The sporting world reacted quickly to the post, taking to the comments to condemn the horrific attack.

"Disgraceful. Sending love Eddie," the Western Bulldogs said.

Betts has been vocal in calling out racial abuse of players at AFL games and online, along with highlighting the difficulties experienced by young Aboriginal kids.
