Victoria-based builder Highline Caravans Pty Ltd went into voluntary liquidation on Tuesday owing $1.14million to almost 60 creditors.

Highline Caravans owes $235,000 to the Australian Taxation office and $766,000 to 58 creditors, including Victoria's State Revenue Office.

Altan Djenab, from insolvency firm Wild Apricot, has been appointed as liquidator.

He said the business could owe between $700,000 and $1million.

'It seems it's down to a lack of orders but I've really got to get in and see what has happened,' Mr Djenab told the Herald Sun.

Employees are not owed any money with initial estimates valuing the company's assets at just $10,000, according to documents.

Other creditors owed include aluminum supplier Allytech Australia and caravan suppliers AZQwood and Samaria Australia.

Highline Caravans was founded in 2013 with its since-deleted website saying it had 'years of experience in the caravan manufacturing industry'.

Our team of highly experienced staff are dedicated to delivering high-quality caravans that are built to last,' it read.

'We take pride in our craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring that every caravan that leaves our factory is of the highest quality. Whether you're looking for a luxury caravan or a custom caravan, we have the expertise and experience to create the perfect caravan for your needs.'
