The 2023 AFLW draft kicks off on Monday night, with the Western Bulldogs set to be significant players with a suite of picks. Follow live from 7pm AEDT and see the full order of picks at the bottom of the article!
The Dogs hold half of the first six picks, with their draft hand bolstered following a mega 11-club deal in the final stages of the trade period last week.
Key forward Kristie-Lee Weston-Turner was taken with the number one pick, having turned heads at the draft combine with impressive results.

Pearce appointed as Eagles AFLW coach | 01:09
Weston-Turner was handed her guernsey by Dogs star Ellie Blackburn after rapturous applause from her friends and family.
“It feels unreal,” Weston-Turner said.
“I don’t know what to say. I’m just so thankful and grateful to be in the position I’m in.”
Weston-Turner spent a long stint this year on the sidelines due to a wrist injury.
West Coast held the second pick and selected Jessica Rentsch, with the Eagles looking to continue creating optimism around its future after appointing Daisy Pearce as its senior coach.
Rentsch suffered a horror leg break last year but has responded brilliantly to establish herself as one of the best young prospects in the country.
AFL CEO Andrew Dillon found himself in the unique position of announcing the drafting of a player he used to coach!
That came when Lucille Cronin, was taken by Collingwood after a junior career that included at one point being coached by now AFL CEO Andrew Dillon at the Kew Comets.
Almost 600 players have nominated for the draft, but there will only be 57 picks. Players were either able to nominate for their home state or the national pool (roughly 70 per cent of player picked the latter), and each club must make at least two selections.
Father-daughter selections are also in the mix, with Bryde O’Rourke, Meg Robertson and Jemma Rigoni all potential options.
It marks a quick turnaround from the AFLW Grand Final, which was won by the Brisbane Lions just over two weeks ago.
The draft begins at 7pm AEDT.
