International hip-hop superstar Travis Scott will light up Allianz Stadium this week, as he kicks off the Australian and New Zealand leg of his Circus Maximus Tour.

The American rapper is playing two shows at Moore Park on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 October, with over 40,000 fans expected each night.

Public transport is the best way to get to both concerts, with frequent light rail services running from Central to Moore Park and plenty of route buses stopping near the stadium.

Transport for NSW Coordinator-General Howard Collins said it’s best to leave the car at home and take advantage of the transport included with your ticket.

“We’re expecting large crowds on both Thursday and Friday nights this week, with the majority of concert-goers set to head to Moore Park around the peak evening traffic time,” Mr Collins said.

“Public transport is included in your ticket, so why not leave the car at home and arrive at the precinct early to soak up the atmosphere before the show.

“If you must drive, or are catching taxis or rideshare, please leave plenty of additional travel time and expect traffic delays and localised road closures.

“Frequent, additional light rail services will run to Moore Park before and after the concerts and plenty of regular route buses stop within a short walk of the stadium.”

Alternatively, fans can catch a train to Central Station and consider an easy walk to the stadium – about 25 minutes - via Foveaux or Devonshire Streets and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway.

Parking on-site at Moore Park is limited and car parks are expected to reach capacity before each show starts so event-goers should have a backup parking option in mind.

If you are getting dropped off or catching rideshare and taxis, expect traffic to be congested on roads immediately around the stadium. Consider getting dropped off away from the area and continuing on foot instead, or getting dropped off at a transport hub to continue to the venue by public transport.
