Andrew O'Keefe charged with breaching AVO

Former television presenter Andrew O’Keefe has been kept behind bars after he was refused bail for allegedly breaching an apprehended violence order.

Police were called to a home on Longworth Avenue at Point Piper where they arrested O’Keefe, the former host of Seven’s Weekend Sunrise and Deal or No Deal, at 11.30pm on Saturday.

He was taken to Waverley police station and charged with one count of contravening a restriction or prohibition of an apprehended violence order, NSW Police said.

O’Keefe spent the night behind bars. He faced Parramatta Local Court on Sunday, when he was refused bail.
