Apple Music Replay 2024: How to See Your Stats, New Features ...

Apple Music users, rejoice because 2024's Apple Music Replay is officially here, and it arrives with a bunch of new updates.

After much anticipation, Apple Music released the Replay 2024 experience on December 3, 2024, to subscribers worldwide, giving users a comprehensive peek at their insights from the entire year. If you are an avid fan of Apple Music, you'd surely be familiar with the monthly Replay stats, but Replay 2024 will go even further. How so? Well, we've answered all your questions below — including who the Top Artists and Song of 2024 are.

First of all, where can I see my Apple Music Replay 2024?

Before, we had to access Apple Music's yearly Replay insights from a separate Replay website, but now your yearly recap will be available directly within the Apple Music app if you have iOS 18.1 or later installed. It will be accessible from the Home, New, and Search tabs, so there's truly no way to miss it.

If you have an older iOS version, you can access Replay 2024 on mobile or desktop via replay.music.apple.com.

New features for Apple Music's Replay 2024

Replay 2024 has been updated to be more shareable than ever before. As usual, the experience will give you your most-played songs, artists, and albums of the year, and you can choose to share as much — or little… we've all had looping periods we are not particularly proud of; it's fine! — of your year-end insights by customizing your shareable slides, which feature a color palette influenced by your music choices. You can choose to share stills or motion videos from your highlight reel. Apple Music has also expanded the Top 100 listener insight to share whether you have made the Top 500 and 1000 listeners of your favorite artists or genres.

Replay 2024 will also feature Listening Streaks so listeners can discover the number of consecutive days they've enjoyed Apple Music, as well as monthly Top Artist Streaks and Date of First Play insights. As usual, you can listen to all of your most-played songs from the year with the Replay 2024 mix.

Listeners aside, there's also an all-new Replay for Artists, so artists can also join in on the fun by sharing their own stats. Insights for artists will include total minutes, total listeners, top cities, and top Shazamed songs.

The new Replay 2024 updates join other recent Apple Music features for listeners, which include collaborative playlists, discovery station, Made for You hubs, AI-powered Apple Music search in the U.S. so you can find the songs you are looking for with whatever little nugget of info you might have, and Apple Music Sing for the karaoke aficionados.

Who is the top artist on Apple Music's 2024 year-end charts?

To coincide with the release of Replay 2024, Apple Music also unveiled its 2024 Year-End Charts on December 3, 2024, compiling the song with the most streams, most Shazams, and more criteria. We are in a celebratory mood because, in a press release, the company confirmed that more women reached the year-end global songs chart than ever before, with 39 songs in the Top Songs of 2024: Global being by or featuring women. Some of the biggest names include Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, SZA, Billie Eilish, and Dua Lipa.

There's also room for celebration in the Non-English music sphere, with Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts, whom you might recognize from the opening of anime series Dan Da Dan, claiming the top spot on the Most-Read Lyrics chart and the Top 100: Sing, and reaching the top 10 of of the Top Songs of 2024: Global with "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born." (A whooping of 28 non-English songs made the cut on the Sing feature top list.)
