Ariana Grande Releases Deluxe Edition Of 'Eternal Sunshine', Live ...
Ariana Grande likely isn't going to tour her recent album, Eternal Sunshine, this year, but she is looking to make that up to her fans.
Today, Ari released a deluxe edition of the album, titled Eternal Sunshine (Slightly Deluxe and Also Live), featuring live interpretations of its songs, as well as bonus tracks and remixes. In addition, she will be releasing video companions for the live performances over the next week.
"。˚wanted to surprise you all with one more Eternal Sunshine related something before i head back into my bubble and meet you over the rainbow next month…" Grande wrote on Instagram. "so i performed seven songs (from ag7) with this wonderful group of musicians, in celebration of seven months of Eternal Sunshine. Eternal Sunshine Slightly Deluxe and Also Live is now available. *·ꕤ.゚*ꕤ
"the videos will be coming out one at a time, each day this week," she added. "Peaches says thank you for all of your love and that she cannot wait to see you again later."
The first video to be released is an orchestral version of "intro (end of the world)," performed with a ten-piece band.
Grande has yet to perform live to support Eternal Sunshine this year, thanks to her busy schedule with the upcoming Wicked movies, however, back in February she explained that she hopes to tour at some point.
“I do have a very busy year with [Eternal Sunshine] and with Wicked, and then next year I also have Wicked Part Two,” she said. “[A tour] would obviously be shorter. If anything, it would be a littler something. But I definitely do have the itch. I’m not ready to announce any sort of thing or get people too excited because I don’t want to disappoint.”
