ASX Today: Stocks to watch on Monday
Welcome back to Stocks to Watch, resuming today for the first edition of 2024 after the break. Hope you’re well.
The ASX200 is set to trade flattish with futures down 0.04 per cent near 8:20 am AEDT.
The 2023 end-of-year everything rally has truly faded as the markets go back to what they were already obsessed with the trajectory of US interest rate cuts.
World markets are also having one of the worst starts to the year on record in terms of sell-offs and profit-taking, but after last year, perhaps the windfall gains are too tempting.

Red 5 (ASX:RED) has provided an update on its December quarterly performance.
53,000 ounces of gold were produced in the period.
The company is reporting robust sales with the top end of guidance achieved.
Shares last traded at 28 cents.
Also in materials, Trinnex Minerals (ASX:TX3) has confirmed high-grade lithium.
The find was made at Ross Lake.
The news comes as lithium prices are under pressure.
Shares last traded at 0.8 cents.
Silver Lake (ASX:SLR) has also provided an update on its December sales performance.
57,360 ounces of gold and 239 tonnes of copper were sold across the Dec quarter.
Silver Lake is on track to its ninth year in a row of meeting guidance.
Shares last traded at $1.13.
Sheffield Resources (ASX:SFX) has shipped its first shipment.
That shipment came from the company’s Thunderbird project.
Non-magnetic zircon concentrate was sent off as the company meets its Q1 2024 guideline for cargoes to commence.
Shares last at 57.5 cents.
And, Biome Australia (ASX:BIO) has issued an FY24 guidance upgrade.
Guidance has now been upgraded to $12.5 million.
This is an upgrade from the previously inked $11.5 million.
