Renowned Marathi actor and Kapil Sharma show fame Atul Parchure, who has also played notable roles in films like 'Salaam-E-Ishq,' 'Khatta Meetha' and 'Billu Barber' passed away in Mumbai at the age of 57. He breathed his last on Monday after battling cancer for a few years. He had opened up about his condition in various interviews and was hopeful that his health would get better. However, it's a misdiagnosis that worsened his health, as per reports. Here's what you should know:

How his cancer intensified
In an earlier interview, the actor said he discovered his health was affected while on a foreign trip. Apparently, he couldn't eat anything and was always feeling nauseous. As initial medications didn't help Atul, he got an ultrasonography done, which unveiled a 5 cm-long cancerous tumour in his liver. The doctors assured him that he would recover, but due to a misdiagnosis and the procedures followed after that, his health worsened. It affected his pancreas, and apparently, he couldn't even walk or speak. He switched doctors eventually, and that helped him improve for a while before he passed away on Monday.
