She was an original cast member on Geordie Shore when it kicked off in 2011, fast becoming a fan favourite for her honesty, her sense of humour, and her wild streak. She was on the show for 12 seasons.
Crosby won Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, co-hosted Tattoo of Us and in 2018 launched her own reality series, The Charlotte Show.
Australians got to know her in season six of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
Crosby, a savvy businesswoman, is the very definition of a self-made success, having forged a career on the basis of her personality ... and popularity.
In Aussie Shore, the first Australian iteration of the smash-hit international reality franchise, she is the boss of a house in Cairns which is home to 10 single housemates.
Is this a coming of age, of sorts? Definitely, says Crosby, who has a daughter with fiance Jake Ankers and last week announced she was expecting baby number two in January.
"Yes, I'm the boss this time and it suits me because obviously I don't want to go back into that environment and be a wild, crazy party animal. I mean I'm 34 now," she says.
Charlotte Crosby: from party girl to mentor on Aussie Shore
"For me to be the boss, and to hear about their antics, and to kind of guide them, that's the perfect role for me.
"I can't help but want to give them motherly advice at times, and I think that's just my motherly instincts coming out because I've got a little girl now. Sometimes the producers would be like 'No, Charlotte, don't go into mother mode because they'll listen to you and won't be as wild', and I'm like 'I can't help it!'."
And her proteges are, she says, much wilder than their Geordie Shore counterparts.
"Everything you saw on Geordie Shore, expect the Aussies to top that times one billion," she says.
"When I was in there my mouth was on the floor for the majority of the time. I was like 'What the hell, we didn't even do this. This is crazy'."
Crosby was the only non-Australian on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and developed strong friendships with the cast. She "talks to Miguel [Maestre] all the time" and keeps in touch with Dale Thomas and Rhonda Burchmore.
"We've got to all get together when I'm next there. We spent such a long period of time together in the jungle, it was such a fantastic experience," she says.
"I love coming to Australia. I get dead excited to watch the telly when I'm there - I know this is going to sound stupid, but I always have the telly on in the background, and I love the Australian news and I love watching The Block and The Bachelor.
"Also when I'm in Australia I'll go to the supermarket and get some hummus, the selection is just so good.
"Whenever I'm over there I have all these little things that I sort of gravitate to that makes me feel that it's kind of like a second home."
