Glenn Maxwell has rocketed back to form just in time for the World Cup, lifting Australia to a massive 7-351 in their final warm-up match against Pakistan at Hyderabad.

Maxwell (77), Cameron Green (50no) and Josh Inglis (48), batting at numbers 6-7-8, led a savage lower-order display at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday for Australia, who crushed 103 from the final 10 overs.

David Warner (48) and Mitch Marsh (31) put on 83 for the first wicket and appear locked in as Australia's first-choice openers for the World Cup. Travis Head is in the 15-man squad but not expected to be available until the back end of the tournament because of a fractured hand.

Warner and Marsh fell to leg-spinner Usama Mir before Marnus Labuschagne (40) and Steve Smith (27) feathered catches to wicketkeeper Mohammad Haris.

Australia batting order: David Warner, Mitch Marsh, Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Alex Carey (wk), Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, Josh Inglis, Pat Cummins (c), Mitchell Starc, Sean Abbott, Josh Hazlewood, Marcus Stoinis, Adam Zampa

Pakistan batting order: Imam ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Abdullah Shafique, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan (c), Mohammad Nawaz, Babar Azam, Salman Ali Agha, Hasan Ali, Usama Mir, Muhammad Wasim, Saud Shakeel, Muhammad Haris (wk), Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi

Maxwell, who had missed last month's tour of South Africa due to a flare-up with his previously-broken leg and the birth of his son prior to the recent series in India, started cautiously before finding his groove.

The Victorian allrounder crunched six sixes in his first substantial innings in several months before eventually departing when he reverse-swept acting captain Shadab Khan to regular skipper Babar Azam, fielding as a substitute.

Inglis bolstered his hopes of permanent inclusion in Australia's first XI with a series of inventive paddles and reverses in his 30-ball cameo, while Green, also finding some belated form, went hard in the late overs.

Speedster Haris Rauf was the most expensive of Pakistan's bowlers, going for 97 from his nine overs.
