SQUAD: Locked in for BBL|14 opener!

Will Sutherland, who was announced as captain a few weeks ago, will lead a new-look squad boasting some familiar faces and boom recruits.

Among those who are in line to wear the Gades' red for the first time are overseas draftees Tim Siefert, Laurie Evans and Hassan Khan.

Josh Brown and Gurinder Sandhu have wasted zero time making an impression at their new BBL club while Geelong local Callum Stow, who was added to the squad this week, is also in line to face the Sixers at the SCG.

Jacob Bethell will be unavailable for this match due to his international commitments with England. He's scheduled to join the squad ahead of the Renegades' home opener in Geelong.

The Final XI will be announced at the bat flip.
