Nearly every year since I started covering tech in 2017, at least ten people ask me what tech they should hold off on buying until Black Friday. It’s one of the best times to nab otherwise pricey gear like headphones, tablets, or gaming consoles, for a significant discount. It’s not just Amazon, either; retailers like Best Buy and even manufacturers themselves are offering discounts worth keeping an eye on. Whether you’ve been waiting to splurge on a new Bluetooth speaker for your living room or you’re looking to wow someone with the right gift, you probably won’t find a better deal than the ones offered this week.

I’ve done most of the digging for you, and found the best deals you can get on tech you (or someone you love) will really like, including things I’ve tested or been recommended by experts. I’ll be updating this post as the deals pour in (and as they expire), but if you’d like to stay as up-to-date as possible, subscribe to our deals newsletter.

While many manufacturers and merchants offer Black Friday deals of their own, you can get a good deal on the same products for a similar discount over on Amazon. In addition, Amazon always has significant discounts on their own products, like Kindles and Echo devices — I always wait until this time of year when I need to upgrade one of my e-readers — that are worth keeping an eye out for.

If you’ve gone shopping for accessories to keep your smartphone or tablet charged, you’ve probably come across an Anker product or two. They make the best (and my favorite) charging cables, charging bricks, and portable chargers, that all make sure my gadgets have enough juice to get through a day of use.

Compared to most companies, Apple doesn’t like to give many discounts on their products, and instead offers a gift card to go with your purchase. Other retailers like Amazon and Target, on the other hand, do offer straight up discounts on Apple devices. So, if you do end up buying from Apple, you’ll have to pay full price for that new iPhone or Apple Watch, but you’ll get a gift card you can use to get a discount on a pair of AirPods, or splurge on a few nice apps in the App Store if that’s more your jam.

Don’t let their name fool you: B&H Photo (whose experts have helped us find countless recommendations) sells everything from cameras to projectors and computers. Plus, they even have a useful filter that lets you sort products based on savings and available stock, so you won’t have to worry about clicking on a deal just to find it’s been expired (though we’ll be on top of that as well).

Best Buy will often give a discount on products you won’t see discounted elsewhere (like Apple), in addition to plenty of other gadgets from companies like Lenovo, Microsoft, and Sony. If you can’t find a deal on some tech you’ve been eyeing elsewhere, Best Buy’s the place to check. We’ve also flagged some noteworthy deals on new products— such as the ASUS ROG Ally and Apple Watch Ultra 2 — that might not have as big of a discount as other tech we’ve listed, but given their recent debuts, this is the first time we’re seeing any kind of price reductions. If you’ve been thinking about buying them, we still think the savings are worth it.

While I love my trusty robot vacuum, nothing clears my floors quite like my Dyson stick vac. Dyson’s cordless stick vacuums are worth their hefty price tag, but any discount helps, and right now the brand has discounts on a ton of their best vacuums, air purifiers, and even hair stylers.

If you need a new Android phone, smart display, or tablet, Google’s got deals on some of their flagship products, including the new Pixel 8, Pixel Tablet (which I use as a smart home hub and bedroom television), and the second generation of their smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 2.

JBL makes some of my favorite Bluetooth speakers, ranging from light-up speakers that feel like a lava lamp, to portable speakers with a clip for easy attachment.

Logitech makes everything from Bluetooth speakers (through its subsidiary, Ultimate Ears) to keyboards and earbuds. Some of my favorite work-from-home gear is from Logitech, including my wireless mouse and keyboard. This year, they’ve got deals on some of their best speakers and keyboards, so if you’ve been eyeing a more ergonomic mouse or a better webcam, now’s the time.

Moft makes some of my favorite iPhone accessories, including iPad cases and stands, MagSafe wallets that make my everyday carry lighter and more convenient, and even laptop accessories that make remote work more comfortable. They’re having a sitewide sale, and you can save up to $60 depending on what product you’re eyeing, as long as it’s over $50.

Whether you’re looking to start your home audio journey, or you want to add some new speakers to an existing setup, Sonos is unmatched in creating multi-speaker, multi-room systems that let you play the same music or podcasts across your home, all from one device.

Target has their own set of deals going on; the usual lineup of tablets, smartphone accessories, and gaming gear all have their fair share of discounts.

Like Amazon and Best Buy, Walmart has a ton of discounts from a variety of manufacturers, and you can get solid discounts on hot ticket items like AirPods Pro if you act fast.

If you’ve got an iPhone, iPad, flagship Android device, or MacBook, Zagg has plenty of accessories to keep your gear safe, charged, or even give it added functionality. They’re having a 35-percent off sale site wide, but do note that the discount won’t be applied until checkout, so don’t be alarmed if you don’t see that lowered price right on the product page.
