The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has confirmed that the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup Finals will offer record payments to players.

Confirmed: Finals will offer a player prize money purse of US$9.6 million  Winners will receive US$2.4 million and runners-up will get US$1.44 million Semi-finalists to take home US$960,000 and group stage teams to pocket US$480,000 Context:

This is the second consecutive year that the Billie Jean King Cup Finals will offer record payments to players, which are equivalent to the levels of prize money awarded at the men’s 2023 Davis Cup Finals. 

The prize money also forms part of the ITF’s ‘Advantage All’ programme to drive value for women’s tennis.

“Achieving gender parity in our sport is a key part of the ITF’s Advantage All programme, and I am delighted we have been able to offer equivalent prize money with the Davis Cup again this year.
