'Heck of an Origin player': Slater in awe over Munster's sixth sense ...
Queensland coach Billy Slater heaped praise on Cameron Munster for his role in the final try of the Maroons’ 26-18 triumph over New South Wales.
The try arrived thanks to an unlikely hero in Maroons forward Lindsay Collins, who plucked a towering bomb out of the air in front of Blues fullback James Tedesco.

As Collins returned to the ground, he flicked a tidy inside pass to Munster who was in the right place at the right time to cross over the line to put the contest beyond doubt.
Although it was Munster who scored the try, the Maroons team converged on Collins to celebrate his stunning play.
But Slater made sure to make a point of Munster receiving the credit he deserved for his ability to be where he needed to.
“Key to a big play is Cameron Munster being in a position,” Slater said in his post-match press conference.
“No-one thought Lindsay was going to leap over James Tedesco, take the ball and then offload it to a support runner on the inside.

“But the position that Munster put himself in, they’re big plays and he’s got that in his game. He threw that pass to Hamiso as well, he’s a heck of an Origin player.”
Queensland skipper Daly Cherry-Evans was also stunned it was Collins who came up with such a play to secure the win.
But the halfback always believed someone was going to deliver a big moment when the team needed it most.
“We spoke about it behind the try line, we just need an opportunity,” Cherry-Evans said.
“If we went back to our game model and our game was going to produce something at some stage.
“I’m not saying I predicted Lindsay Collins to jump and catch a bomb, but I knew at some point we’ve got players in our team that if we all did our jobs, someone’s going to come up with something.”
