The 2023 edition of the Bledisloe Cup is finally here, as one of world rugby's most fierce rivalries is once more put to the test. 

Across two games, Australia and New Zealand will play for trans-Tasman bragging rights, with the former hoping to claim a series win for the first time in over 20 years. 

With each team getting one home game, and with the Rugby World Cup coming into view, this year's Bledisloe Cup will have more than just bragging rights up for grabs. 

Is the Bledisloe Cup on free-to-air TV in Australia?

Yes, the 2023 Bledisloe Cup will be shown live on free-to-air TV, broadcast on Channel 9. 

Game 1 of the Beldisloe Cup, held on Saturday, July 29, will be broadcast from 7:30 pm AEST, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45 pm AEST. 

How to watch or stream Australia vs New Zealand 

In Australia, the first game of the 2023 Bledisloe Cup will be broadcast on Channel 9 and can be streamed on 9Now as well as on Stan Sport. 

In New Zealand, the game can be seen on SKY Sports and can be streamed on Sky Sports Now.

Who holds the Bledisloe Cup?

The Bledisloe Cup is currently held by the New Zealand All Blacks, who have not relinquished the title since 2002. 

The All Blacks have held the Cup for the previous 21 years, having either won or tied every series since the Wallabies retaining in 2002.
