Bronny James struggles and other takeaways from Summer League

One of Las Vegas summer League is in the books and the top three draft picks did not disappoint the number one pick Zachary Rica and the Atlanta Hawks squared off with Alex Starr, the number two pick and the Washington Wizards in a game that went down to the last minute.
The Wizards got the w but there was plenty to like about the top prospects during the game with glimpses of outside shooting and shot creation from rich and rim protection from s recording four blocks in the game.
The biggest surprise was Bob Carrington at the number 14th pick who nearly had a triple double with 19 points, nine rebounds and eight assists still just 18 years old.
He was terrific getting downhill and facilitating making the extra pass and quick decisions off screens to get shots off.
Expect big minutes from both Carrington and S moving forward as the Wizards continue the rebuild process.
Fans came to see Ronnie James and the Lakers but it was re Shepard and the Rockets that completely stole the show after only six points in the first half, Shepard came out confident to start the third quarter and let it fly from deep finishing with 23 points, five assists and three blocks.
Lakers guard Dalton connect the 17th pick in the draft led all players with 25 points and got looks from all over the court.
He struggled a bit off the bounce but was deadly in the catch and shoot hitting a five threes.
It was not a great shooting night for Ronnie James going zero for eight from three and only scoring eight points.
He was visibly frustrated after the game telling reporters that he's gonna continue to get reps and take the open shots moving forward.
He also added five rebounds and two steals in the loss.
