Australia's first plug-in hybrid dual-cab available from $58k

Power comes from a plug-in hybrid powertrain consisting of a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a pair of electric motors, the latter sustained by a 29.5kWh LFP battery pack which offers a claimed EV-only driving range of around 100km.

Combined outputs of 321kW/650Nm are said to be enough to launch the Shark 6 from 0-100km/h in a Ranger Raptor-beating 5.7 seconds.

Standard equipment highlights on the singular Premium variant include 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, sequential rear indicators, roof rails, side steps, soft open-and-close tailgate, vehicle to load (V2L) capability, with four household power plugs, a giant 15.6-inch touchscreen, smartphone mirroring, sat-nav, digital radio, voice assist and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.

Other features include a wireless phone charging pad, 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system, heated and ventilated front seats, a leather-clad steering wheel and faux-leather seat upholstery.

A full suite of safety and driver aids also comes as standard, headlined by autonomous emergency braking (AEB), adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, driver and surrounds-monitoring, seven airbags including front-centre, an array of camera views and front and rear parking sensors.

Four exterior colour options include Arctic White, Cosmos Black, Outback Orange, and Atlantis Grey, while the interior colour palette is limited to black (with orange highlights).
