When is the Carabao Cup fourth-round draw?

Manchester United's reward for beating Barnsley 7-0 at Old Trafford will not be discovered until next week.

The draw for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup is being held on Wednesday 25 September.

it will happen soon after the conclusion of our Europa League encounter with FC Twente, following the domestic tie between Liverpool and West Ham United at Anfield.

Matches are taking place next week in the Carabao Cup due to Champions League fixtures being staged across the continent this midweek.

The draw will be made on Sky Sports and the ball numbers will not be announced until the morning of the event.

The week commencing 28 October has been allocated for the fourth-round fixtures, as we await our opponents with interest.

Six other sides are already safely through to the fourth round, after Tuesday night's action.

Three of the games went to penalty shootouts, with Stoke City beating Fleetwood Town 2-1 and, at the other end of the scale, Preston North End dumping Premier League Fulham out 16-15, after draws. The other one was Southampton's spot-kicks triumph away to out-of-form Everton.

In regulation time, Brentford beat fellow Londoners Leyton Orient 3-1, Crystal Palace won 2-1 at QPR in another all-capital affair and Sheffield Wednesday edged a single-goal victory at Blackpool.
