Fresh produce marketer SanLucar has again teamed up with VfB Stuttgart for a new campaign in the Bundesliga football club’s home region of Baden-Württemberg, in southern Germany.

Following a successful collaboration that raised €25,000 for social causes at the start of 2024, the company has launched a new line of branded products that carry stickers featuring club mascot VfB Fritzle.

These will be sold in the next few weeks, to coincide with Stuttgart’s Champions League matches against teams including Sparta Prague, Juventus, and Atalanta.

The campaign will focus on SanLucar’s premium fruits, such as blueberries, mandarins, oranges, lemons, grapes, plums, mangoes, avocados, and fresh-cut produce.

The group says it will donate 10 per cent of the proceeds from these products to charitable organisations in Germany and South Africa.

“Doing good is simply fun,” said SanLucar CEO Armin Rehberg. “Our latest joined campaign showed that there is significant interest in supporting social projects and eating healthily at the same time.”

He added: “Combining this with sport and a great club like VfB Stuttgart is certainly a guarantee of success guided by heart. Everyone benefits. The campaign weeks are accompanied by attractive secondary placement displays in the participating markets.

“This initiative is a great example of our special commitment to do things in a way we can be proud of, both at international, national and regional level.”
