Nottingham Forest will be bidding to further aid their bid for Premier League survival by beating struggling Chelsea this afternoon.

Forest have moved three points clear of the drop zone after edging a seven-goal thriller with fellow relegation battlers Southampton.

Steve Cooper’s side now face a tough task to record back-to-back wins as they boast the lowest ratio of points earned away from home in the division.

The Tricky Trees also haven’t won at Stamford Bridge since January 1995 but can take solace from Chelsea’s continued struggles.

The Blues finally won at the seventh attempt in Lampard’s second spell in charge following a 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

But the two-time Champions League winners remain in eleventh and have lost to a newly promoted side at home in each of the last two Premier League campaigns, including West Brom and Brentford.
