Childish Gambino has announced he has cancelled the Australian and New Zealand leg of his world tour.
The This is America rapper, born Donald Glover, told ticketholders via email he's been forced to scrap next year's shows due to recovery from surgery taking longer than expected.
"Unfortunately, my path to recovery is taking longer than expected," the statement reads.
"One of the last things I'd ever want to do is disappoint my fans.
"I really appreciate the support you have shown and know that I will do what I can to give you an exceptional experience when the time is right. Thank you."
Glover was set to perform in New Zealand in late January and Australia in early February as part of his The New World tour.

In October, he was forced to cancel shows in North America and Europe revealing he'd undergone surgery for a health issue.
"After my show in New Orleans, I went to the hospital in Houston to make sure of an ailment that had become apparent," he wrote on X post at the time.
"After being assessed, it became clear I would not perform that night, and after more tests, I could not perform the rest of the US tour in the time asked.
"As of now I have surgery scheduled and need time out to heal. My path to recovery is something I need to confront seriously."
Those who purchased tickets at a Ticketek agency will be offered a full refund.
