The tour has already seen the star band sell out Perth's Optus Stadium this weekend, but they'll be back down under next year.

The newly announced antipodean run will take them to Melbourne on October 30, 2024, at Marvel Stadium, and to Sydney's Accor Stadium on November 6, 2024.

It will be Coldplay's first time playing in those cities since 2016. They will be supported by PinkPantheress and Emmanuel Kelly.

The band will also perform at Eden Park in Auckland on November 13, 2024.

The Music of the Spheres World Tour, which kicked off in March 2022, has so far sold more than nine million tickets.

The band also claims more than seven million trees have been planted around their world in the name of their current tour.

Tickets for the newly-announced shows will go on presale at 10am AEDT next Wednesday, November 29. Fans can register at the band's website.

The general sale will begin at 10am AEDT on Friday, December 1.

Coldplay will make a limited number of "Infinity Tickets" available for the shows at a later date.

They will cost $32 apiece, are restricted to a maximum of two tickets per purchaser, and must be bought in pairs (which will be located next to each other).
