Coldplay To Play One-Off Special Show In Perth 2023
The rumours are true; Coldplay is coming to Perth for the first time since 2009.
Coldplay is set to bring their interstellar vibes to Optus Stadium for an exclusive, one-night-only performance later this year as part of their Music Of The Spheres tour.
The tour blasted off in Costa Rica in March last year, with rumours swirling that the multi-Grammy-winning superstars will take centre stage in Western Australia sometime in mid to late November.
Perhaps taking inspiration from Billy Joel’s one-night-only extravaganza at Melbourne’s MCG in December last year, this colossal event is poised to bring a tourism boom, as die-hard fans from across the country and beyond will undoubtedly flock to Perth.
Tour datesNo official tour date or public ticket sales have been announced yet. You can join the waitlist at Live Nation here to make sure you are the first to know.
This will mark Coldplay’s long-awaited return to Perth for the first time since their 2009 Burswood Dome gig, as they bypassed Western Australia during their 2012 and 2016 Eastern States tours.
So I think it’s fair to say — Coldplay owed us an exclusive Perth-only show.
