Coldplay has announced that they will be offering FREE tickets to fans who were affected by recent flight cancellations during their shows in Western Australia to their shows next year.

In a heartwarming move, Coldplay, one of the world’s most popular bands, has announced that they will be offering FREE tickets to fans who were affected by recent flight cancellations during their shows in Western Australia.

The announcement comes as a generous gesture to ensure that those who missed out on their Perth concerts due to canceled flights have a chance to attend the band’s upcoming Australian tour next year.

The affected flights include VA721 on Wednesday evening and VA474 on Thursday evening, and fans who were booked on these flights and held tickets for the Perth shows are eligible to claim these complimentary tickets.

To avail this offer, fans must contact the event organiser at [email protected] before the deadline, which is 5 pm AEDT on November 28.

The canceled flights, originating from Adelaide and Brisbane, left numerous Coldplay enthusiasts stranded and disappointed, missing out on what was an exclusive series of shows at Western Australia’s Optus Stadium over the weekend.

“We were really sorry to hear about the fans who didn’t make it to this weekend’s Perth shows because of two cancelled flights from Adelaide and Brisbane,” the band said in a statement posted to X/Twitter.

Coldplay, known for their energetic and visually spectacular live performances, recently announced their return to Australia in 2024, with shows scheduled in Melbourne and Sydney in October and November.

Fans eager to secure their spots can register on Coldplay.com for access to the ticket presale, starting at 10 am local time on Wednesday, 29th November. The general ticket sale will commence on Friday, 1st December at 10 am local time.

The Music Of The Spheres World Tour has been a resounding success since its launch in March 2022, with over 9 million tickets sold, making it the most attended tour in the past two years. The tour has not only been commercially triumphant but has also received critical acclaim, including awards like Favorite Touring Artist at the 2022 AMAs and Tour of The Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards.

Beyond their musical achievements, Coldplay has made significant strides in sustainability. They have reported a substantial reduction in CO2e emissions compared to their 2016/17 tour and have facilitated the planting of over 7 million trees worldwide, symbolising one tree for each concertgoer.

Since the Music of The Spheres World Tour began in March 2022, it has sold over six million tickets across Europe, North America, and Latin America. Coldplay will also make a limited number of Infinity Tickets available for the shows, priced at $32 AUD per ticket, aimed at making the Music Of The Spheres World Tour accessible and affordable for fans. These tickets will be sold in pairs and located next to each other, with a maximum of two tickets per purchaser.

To add to the excitement, the band has revealed their support acts for the shows will be PinkPantheress and Emmanuel Kelly.
