Following a huge month for Coldplay fans across the country, as the popular band played a series of an exclusive shows at Western Australia’s Optus Stadium, another show has been added to their 2024 Australian tour.

When the band returns to Australia in 2024, they will be playing shows in both Melbourne and Sydney in October and November.

Due to incredible demand, a third Coldplay Music Of The Spheres World Tour date has been added on the 2nd of November at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.

Fans eager to secure their spots can register now on Coldplay.com for access to the ticket presale, which began today, Wednesday, 29th November. The general ticket sale will commence shortly after, starting on Friday, 1st December at 10am local time.

The Music Of The Spheres World Tour has been a monumental success since its commencement in March 2022, selling over 9 million tickets, making it the most attended tour in the past two years. The tour has not only been a commercial triumph but has also garnered critical acclaim, winning awards such as Favorite Touring Artist at the 2022 AMAs and Tour of The Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards.

Alongside their musical achievements, Coldplay has been keenly focused on sustainability. The band recently updated fans about the tour’s environmental impact, revealing a significant reduction in CO2e emissions compared to their 2016/17 tour. Impressively, they have also facilitated the planting of over 7 million trees worldwide – one for each concertgoer.

This commitment to environmental consciousness was further recognized when Coldplay was named in TIME Magazine’s inaugural TIME100 Climate list. This accolade underscores their influence as world leaders driving real climate action, setting an example for the music industry.

After a triumphant 2022 where Coldplay sold more concert tickets than any other artist and broke attendance records around the world, the iconic band – who won Tour of The Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards – will bring their spectacular stadium show, bursting with lasers, fireworks and LED wristbands to Perth, where they will perform classic hits such as “Yellow”, “Viva La Vida”, “Clocks”, “A Sky Full Of Stars” and “My Universe”.

Since kicking off in March 2022, the Music of The Spheres World Tour has sold over six million tickets across Europe, North America, and Latin America, receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike, with The Times calling it ‘the greatest live music show ever’, the Dallas Observer acclaiming the visuals as “mind-blowing” and the Houston Chronicle describing the band’s performance as “pure joy”.

Coldplay will make a limited number of Infinity Tickets available for the shows at a later date. Infinity Tickets are released for every Coldplay show to make the Music Of The Spheres World Tour accessible to fans for an affordable price. They will cost $32 AUD / $32 NZD per ticket. They are restricted to a maximum of two tickets per purchaser, and must be bought in pairs (which will be located next to each other).

The band have also revealed their support acts for the shows will be PinkPantheress and Emmanuel Kelly.

DHL is the Official Logistics Partner of the Music Of The Spheres World Tour, supporting the band in their mission to cut the tour’s direct emissions by 50%.
