Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson Boxing Fight 2024: Conor McGregor ...
The rivalry between Jake Paul and MMA star Conor McGregor seems to be stuck in a stalemate - but not for much longer.
Paul wasted no time naming his next opponent after cruising to an unsurprising eight-round victory against Mike Tyson on Saturday (AEDT).
But his focus on the 58-year-old has quickly shifted to a new foe as he restated his proposed plan to battle McGregor.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer has expressed his desire to battle McGregor in the boxing ring on several occasions but the pair have yet to follow through with any callouts, given the significant weight gains or losses required for both athletes.

McGregor has not fought in the UFC since his defeat to Dustin Poirier in July 2021, having withdrawn from his fight with Michael Chandler in June 2024.
The Irishman has also not competed in the boxing ring since August 2017 where he faced Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Due to contractual obligations with the UFC, many believed McGregor would not be able to face Paul but the 27-year-old boxer has outlined how the duel can take place.
"Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170Ibs (77kg)," Paul wrote on X.
"That's never happening. But let's run it in MMA. No weight class, Just like how it used to be done. But you won't."
Paul cited his victory over Nate Diaz as evidence for why a bout with McGregor would be an achievable challenge in his post-fight press conference.
"He'll never do that," Paul explained when asked if he would face McGregor.
"He knows. He's not his own boss. It's easy to say Conor McGregor doesn't want to fight Jake Paul, but it's the f----ing truth.
"Look at him go to-to-toe with Nate Diaz who was easy work for me. It was like a Monday sparring session."
His comments will likely not be ignored by the 36-year-old Irish fighter, however, no comments have been made as of yet.
