Jetstar drops sale fares to Cook Islands from just $229

Your next tropical island getaway could be cheaper than ever.

Jetstar is celebrating one year of flying to the Cook Islands with a massive sale on their fares to Rarotonga.

Flights included in the sale start at just $229.

Less than six hours away by direct flight from Sydney, the Cook Islands have become a favourite holiday spot for Aussies.

The lush islands have crystal clear water, pristine beaches fringed with palms, friendly locals and a relaxed vibe.

There really is something for everyone here. Whether you want to lounge by the pool drinking cocktails, swim at the calm beaches with kids, take on some watersports, swim with turtles, or zoom around the island on a scooter - it's all on offer.

Jetstar is currently the only airline operating direct flights between Australia and Rarotonga – the largest of the Cook Islands.

In its first year, the airline has carried approximately 50,000 customers between Sydney and Rarotonga.

To help more Australians discover this Pacific island paradise, Jetstar is having a Rarotonga Sale with fares from just $229 one way. Travel dates vary but include late January to late May 2025.

The sale ends at 11.59pm AEST on Saturday 6 July 2024, unless sold out prior.

Virgin launches network-wide mega sale

It's the perfect day to book your next holiday, with Virgin Australia also announcing its latest sale. Starting from today, prices of over one million seats have been dropped.

Sale fares start at $49, and are across the whole network - including international.

If you're feeling the winter chill, you can pick up flights to Bali, Fiji, the Whitsundays, Gold Coast, Hamilton Island, or Vanuatu without breaking the bank.

All sale fares include Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits.

The sale fares are available to book until midnight AEST Monday 8 July 2024 on select flights for travel between 30 July 2024 and 3 June 2025 (unless sold out prior).
