Sydney-based Fuse Technology earned a $10,000 runner-up prize at the Ingram Micro ONE event in Washington D.C. last month, for its plan for a Microsoft Copilot tool to streamline skills assessments by Australian migration agencies.
Fuse Technology presented the plan to “high-profile” Microsoft and Ingram Micro executives who judges a Microsoft Shark Tank event at the Ingram Micro ONE innovation event, which took place from November 6-8 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, Washington, D.C.
Fuse Technology stated that it was building the AI tool with the aim of streamlining skills assessment consultations, lowering labour and client costs, and freeing up time for higher value tasks and projects.

Oreta received the Breakthrough Partner of the Year award
The Sydney-based business wasn’t the only Australian company that earned recognition at the Ingram Micro ONE event in the US.
At the Ingram Micro ONE Innovation Summit reseller awards, Precision IT was named Reseller of the Year, for “tremendous growth through leveraging automation built on the cloud marketplace to scale cloud solutions for customers during 2024.”
The Breakthrough Partner of the Year award went to Oreta. It Oreta worked with the likes of Veeam and AvePoint through Ingram Micro to deliver a “holistic solution”. Its services include a security bundle based on Microsoft Sentinel, Copilot Assessments, and initiatives to drive Azure growth through infrastructure migration and AI adoption.
Oreta’s work with Ingram Micro has “significantly accelerated our Go to Market strategy for Microsoft Azure and 365, Veeam, Palo Alto, and Fortinet,” stated Oreta General Manager of Delivery, Andrew Jones.
Insight Enterprises Australia Director of Sales Operation Jenny Southon was named Female Leader of The Year for her “visionary leadership, which has ensured significant growth, optimised operations, and elevated service delivery for insight.”
Other winners included LAB3’s Rhiannon Tunstall, who was named DEIB Leader of the Year. Auckland-based PB Tech was named Growth Partner of the Year, while Alliance Business Technologies received the Solution Partner of the Year award.
