Kyle Feldt has reflected on his time at North Queensland after playing what could be his final game at Townsville.

Manly are still a chance of finishing sixth this season but the Cowboys currently occupy that spot.

Feldt scored two tries against the Storm, and told Nine he didn't think too much about the occasion.

"I knew how much this means to me and this club means to me and my family and tonight is very emotional," he said.

"I don't want to think about it too much because it will make me cry. It's a big part of my life, I've been here since I was 15 and I'm 32 so it's nearly half my life. As you can tell it means so much to me."

He dummied through the line and attempted a pass to Reece Robson.

Melbourne were able to get to the ball first but it was fumbled into the in goal.

Robson was first to dive on it and Val Holmes converts the try to make it 30-24.

The Cowboys kick a short drop out and it's batted back by Jake Clifford.

But Griffin Neame can't pick it up cleanly and Tyran Wishart is there to pick up the ball and score.

Wishart converts and we're locked up at 24-24.

Melbourne's lead extends after a penalty against Reuben Cotter for a high shot.

Andrew Johns is not impressed though because Cotter only collected Tepai Moreoa high as he fell to the ground.

"I don't know what he's supposed to do ... how's that a penalty?," he said on Nine.

Wishart kicks the two and it's 24-18 the Cowboys way.

Valentine Holmes gets a try in his 200th!

Tom Dearden switched the play in the middle of the field.

Scott Drinkwater was involved again, cutting it out to Val Holmes. He passed to Murray Taulagi.

Taulagi then gave it back to Holmes who scored.

Cowboys have looked totally different in this half.
