Daniel Day-Lewis, is that you?

The reclusive actor was photographed on Thursday for the first time in four years, sporting surprisingly long locks.

The “Lincoln” star looked unrecognizable speaking into a flip phone while wearing a blue tracksuit, a black trucker hat and matching sneakers.

On Friday, the 66-year-old stepped out again, this time for a West Village walk holding hands with his wife, Rebecca Miller.

Day-Lewis paired yellow sweats with a black hoodie, a striped shirt and a trucker hat for their casual stroll.

The Oscar winner, known for going to extreme lengths for his performances by method acting, has not released a movie since announcing his retirement in June 2017, following the release of “Phantom Thread.”

“I haven’t figured it out,” he told W magazine five months later. “I need to believe in the value of what I’m doing. The work can seem vital. Irresistible, even. And if an audience believes it, that should be good enough for me. But, lately, it isn’t.”

While it felt “uncharacteristic” of the Golden Globe winner to put out a statement about his career ending, he clarified that he felt like “draw[ing] a line.”

Day-Lewis explained, “All my life, I’ve mouthed off about how I should stop acting, and I don’t know why it was different this time.

“But the impulse to quit took root in me, and that became a compulsion,” he continued. “It was something I had to do.”

Back in 1997, he took a step back from Hollywood to pursue shoe cobbling in Florence, Italy, until 2000.

Day-Lewis is best known for many award-winning roles, including “There Will Be Blood” and “The Boxer.”
