Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has revealed he has had a new baby outside of his marriage.
Grohl, 55, posted a statement on Instagram to announce the birth of his newborn daughter, also stating he is “doing everything” to regain the trust of his wife and their children.
“I recently became the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl said on Tuesday, without offering additional information about his newborn baby or the baby’s mother in the statement.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
Grohl married Jordyn Blum, 48, in August 2003. Since then, they’ve welcomed three daughters together: Violet (18), Harper (15) and Ophelia (10).
His eldest daughters Violet and Harper have since deactivated their social media.
Blum previously worked as a model and a TV producer and has worked on a number of Foo Fighters projects alongside Grohl.
