Drake last performed in Australia in 2017 as part of his Boy Meets World tour. Since then Drizzy Drake has released four more solo studio albums – Scorpion (2018), Certified Lover Boy (2021), Honestly, Nevermind (2022) and For All the Dogs (2023) – along with the 21 Savage collaborative record, Her Loss (2022).
It’s been an interesting 12 months for Drake, who became embroiled in a war of words with Kendrick Lamar earlier this year. The duo traded barbs on wax for several weeks, with Kendrick proclaimed the winner after dropping ‘Not Like Us’, which topped the US Billboard 100 Chart.
But Drizzy doesn’t seem to be bothered, telling xQc on his livestream: “I'm here, fully intact. Mind, body and soul… You need facts to take me out, fairytales won't do it.”
