The EFL Cup third round field is set following Wednesday’s final slate of second round action.

Chris Richards, Gabriel Slonina, and Antonee Robinson are among the American contingent set for involvement this September. Haji Wright, Donovan Pines, Lynden Gooch, Reggie Cannon and Duane Holmes will also be part of the final 32 clubs in this season’s competition.

Richards played 80 minutes off the bench on Tuesday as Crystal Palace rolled past Norwich City 4-0 at Selhurst Park. The U.S. men’s national team defender will face a London Derby against QPR in the third round, which could pit Richards and Cannon up against one another.

Slonina impressed on Tuesday as Barnsley defeated Sheffield United 1-0 at Oakwell. Pines logged his first 90 minutes since last spring while Slonina made four saves.

Up next for Slonina, Pines, and Co. is a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.

Robinson did not featured in Fulham’s 2-0 second round victory over Birmingham City, but could be part of the third round squad. The USMNT left back will meet Holmes and Preston North End at Deepdale.

Holmes registered one assist for Preston in Tuesday’s 5-0 romp over Harrogate Town.

Haji Wright and Coventry City will welcome Tottenham to town in the third round after defeating Oxford United 1-0. Wright did not feature in Tuesday’s showdown.

Gooch and Stoke City will host Fleetwood Town in the next round after rolling past Aidan Morris and Middlesbrough 5-0. The former USMNT defender made his 300th overall appearance in England in the result.

The EFL Cup third round schedule will run between September 16-23.
