The Young Lions are held to a goalless draw by Israel in Germany
England men's Under-17s were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by Israel in Duisburg.
The first half was a quiet affair, with the Young Lions dominating possession but struggling to create clear-cut opportunities.
Ryan McAidoo was at the heart of their best efforts but was unable to prevent a goalless opening period.
The second period followed a similar pattern, with the Young Lions unable to break down stubborn opponents.
A flurry of substitutions from boss Neil Ryan were designed to make the breakthrough but the game eventually ended goalless.
