Star Broncos player allegedly returns positive drug test after crash
Star Broncos player Ezra Mam has allegedly returned a positive result in a roadside drug test after being involved in a car crash overnight.
Mam was driving on Simpson Road, in Bardon, Brisbane, when his Ford Ranger Utility crashed into a Toyota Camry, being used as an Uber, at 5pm yesterday.
It was a head-on collision.
No one was seriously hurt in the crash, however, the 21-year-old was made to take a roadside drug test, which has allegedly returned a positive result.
He returned a negative result on a roadside blood alcohol test.
Police are now conducting subsequent testing, but the results could take anywhere between 24 hours and three weeks to come back.
He has not been arrested or charged.
There were three passengers in the Uber, including a school-aged child.
All three were taken to hospital in stable conditions.
