Alleged Baby Reindeer stalker Fiona Harvey's interview with Piers ...

Fiona Harvey - the woman who allegedly inspired the hit Netflix series Baby Reindeer - has appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored to share her side of the story. Accused of being the person who relentlessly stalked Richard Gadd, the creator of the series, Harvey has previously revealed that she has received death threats from people and has been viciously harassed herself since the show premiered.

Speaking to Morgan, Harvey insisted that the allegations against her were complete "nonsense" and said that she had only met Gadd "two or three times" but later said it was "five or six." When asked if she sent him 41,000 emails, Harvey said she had never sent him anything, only to alter her story seconds later.

"That's simply not true. If somebody was sending somebody 41,000 emails or something, they'd be doing how many a day? Lots," she said. "None of that's true. I don't think I sent him anything … No, I think there may have been a couple of emails exchanged, but that was it. Just jokey banter emails."

She also accused Gadd of being 'psychotic' and said that she believed he had been obsessed with her since they first met at a pub called the Hawley Arms, where he "rudely" interrupted a conversation she was having with someone else.

Viewers are convinced Richard Gadd is telling the truth

The episode racked up more than 2 million views in 4 hours, and people wasted no time rushing to social media to share their thoughts on the interview and, more specifically, Fiona herself.

"After this interview I am 100% convinced that Richard isn't lying about her behaviour," one person wrote on the YouTube video.

"The amount of gaslighting and playing the victim is scary," said another. "I believe the show more than ever now."

"Never seen someone absolutely 100% CONFIRM they are a stalker before, whilst 100% rebutting that they aren't!" someone else said incredulously.

Another viewer wrote, "Whoever advised her to do this interview is the WORST friend ever. She failed this interview miserably. It's so easy to tell she was lying through her teeth during the entire interview. I love how she didn't think twice to admit to having 6 phones and 6 email addresses, as if that were perfectly normal."

A different viewer noted, "The idea that Richard Gadd could manage to flesh out a character to so perfectly match the real Martha when they only met '5 or 6 times' according to her is so unrealistic."

On X, one person went so far as to do the math about the alleged 41,000 emails writing, "I worked out if #FionaHarvey sent 41k emails, that’s about 28 a day. Have you seen how many status that women writes a day? Even when you look back on her old twitter she used to write a lot in a day. I believe she can send roughly 28 emails a day."

"Ok so the Piers Morgan and Fiona Harvey ep is absolutely mad and I’ve never been more convinced that Baby Reindeer is 100% legit," a different viewer shared.

Fiona Harvey 'a troubled woman who needs help'

Others on X were more empathetic to Fiona, with one person writing, "The whole Piers Morgan interview with Fiona Harvey was fascinating, but at the same time she is clearly a troubled woman who needs help. Not being turned into a public spectacle."

Someone else reasonably said, "It’s entirely plausible that both what Fiona Harvey and Richard Gadd are saying is true. She stalked him, but he also profited from it and people finding her is making him more money. Let’s not forget there’s a rapist walking free who wasn’t half as identifiable as her."

Another said, "Am I the only one who feels sorry for Fiona Harvey? She’s been awful but she’s clearly not well, I hope she gets the help she needs."

"I actually feel so sorry for Fiona Harvey," another said.

"Genuinely fascinating chat with Fiona Harvey," someone else wrote. "Was worried @piersmorgan was going to go hard on her but he was very respectful, challenged her statements and actually allowed her to speak. I do hope she’s ok."

'Made me uncomfortable'

Some people expressed how uncomfortable the whole thing made them, despite believing that Fiona probably did do many of the things she is accused of.

"Not sure what to make of this?" a viewer wrote on Instagram. "Did Richard Gadd really think people would not want to find out who the ‘real’ Martha was? If she has mental health problems (something that should not be laughed or pointed at) is going on a talk show with a pretty ruthless journalist the right thing to do? The whole thing makes me feel uncomfortable."

"So there is clearly some mental health problems somewhere… why are we using it as entertainment.. shame on you," another posted.

Wrote another, "Really uncomfortable watching. This is not right and if someone is suspected of having psychiatric issues, they should not be interviewed by a cutthroat journalist for the whole world to see, debate about etc. what does this do? Who does this serve? It’s wrong."

"Where is the duty of care for this lady?" someone questioned. "Absolutely irresponsible of this show to put her in front of Piers Morgan."
