Gina Rinehart taking a 'long term' view backing nuclear power

Shadow Climate Change and Energy Minister Ted O’Brien says Gina Rinehart is taking a “long term” view on energy after the country’s richest woman endorsed nuclear power. “If we were to go down the path of nuclear energy in Australia we would be joining 32 other nations that currently have nuclear energy,” Mr O’Brien told Sky News Australia. “Countries that we look to that have far greater stability in their electricity grid, places that also have cheaper power.”
