'3 Good Things' Is a New Event Redefining Women's Networking

Networking events for women are often gatekept for those at a leadership level, offering highly exclusive, and often expensive, member-only content. This creates an atmosphere that does little to appeal to and actively excludes a new generation of talent.

This context has inspired ‘3 Good Things’, a new women’s leadership event series from creative agency The Or.

‘3 Good Things’ aims to create a space where all women with all experience levels can connect in a friendly and approachable environment.

Each session will begin with a brief interview with three inspiring women who have had an unconventional path or unique approach to get to where they are now. Three questions and three answers, followed by a chance to enjoy drinks and form at least three new connections with others in the room.

The first event will take place the evening of Wednesday, September 18th (6-8 pm).

The launch panel features:

Co-founder & CEO of The Inkey List, Colette LaxtonMarketing manager at Tinder and podcast host, Madeline RileyDyslexia and Neurodiversity advocate and managing director of ReThink Learning Consultancy, Marcia Brissett-Bailey

The panel will be moderated by The Or’s strategic partner and co-founder Sarah Oberman.

Sarah commented “Too often the real advice happens behind closed doors, in rooms that not everyone has access to. Or we’re given the glossy version of events. And left with phrases like ‘embrace failure’. So this event is about sharing real stories from a diverse set of women and experiences. And a chance for women (and allies) to meet and support each other.”

The Or would like to say a special thanks to their drinks and snacks sponsors Agua de Madre, High Water Hard Seltzer and REAL crisps.
