Heidi Klum shares first glimpse of Halloween costume

There are three certainties during Halloween: pumpkins, lollies, and Heidi Klum in a truly off-the-chain costume.

Yes, while some of the world's most famous faces love to get into the spooky spirit, there's one celebrity costume the world waits for with bated breath each year.

The German model's commitment to completely transforming herself – who could forget the time she morphed into a giant earthworm? – has rightly earned her the reputation of Halloween's costume queen.

Right now, fans are waiting patiently for her 2024 look to be unveiled, with Klum drip-feeding photos from her getting-ready process on social media.

Judging by the clips she's posted, it appears to be another bonkers full-body transformation.

This morning, the Project Runway icon – who is hosting her 22nd Halloween party in New York – shared a video of her with prosthetic artist Mike Marino, in which her face is already unrecogniseable.

"How many more hours?" she asks through the dramatic prosthetics.

"We've got about six more hours," Marino replies.

Klum shared a second video in which she enjoys a tarot card reading while having her facial prosthetics applied.

Though this clip is a wider shot than the first, it offers no more clarity as to what the costume is.

The only other clue she's offered is this shot of what seems to be her hand wrapped around a giant prosthetic thumb:

Fans are already making guesses at what she could be, with E.T., a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Thing from Fantastic Four among the suggestions.

Klum has previously teased her 2024 outfit, telling US Today, "I'm claustrophobic just thinking about it."

Her only other clue? "It will be outerworldly."

She also previously mentioned that it will be a couple's costume with her husband Tom Kaulitz.

Sharing a video of the musician undergoing his Halloween transformation, she wrote, "He is such a good sport."

The model has quite a task ahead of her to top last year's effort, which saw her transform into a larger-than-life peacock.
