Team USA's Hunter Woodhall wins first Paralympic gold medal ...
(Gray News) - Team USA’s Hunter Woodhall won his first Paralympic gold medal Friday, joining his wife, Tara Davis-Woodhall, as gold medalists in Paris.
Woodhall came in first in the men’s 400m T62 final with a time of 46.36 seconds, beating out Germany’s Johannes Floors and the Netherlands’s Oliver Hendricks.
This is 25-year-old Woodhall’s third Paralympics game.

Woodhall’s win comes weeks after Davis-Woodhall won her own first Olympic gold medal in women’s long jump.
The couple has been dubbed Team USA’s “power couple” in track and field. Their joint Instagram account has more than 590,000 followers.
Woodhall went running to Davis-Woodhall immediately after winning, in a moment that mirrored her own celebration.
Woodhall has another chance at the gold as he competes in the 4x100m universal relay final later on Friday.
