FOUR! Litton judges the ball well and gets low to sweep it through mid-wicket. Bishnoi spins it down leg and a wide is given. Goes through the fielder’s hands for a FOUR! Bishnoi going for 13 runs this over.

Umpires decide to go upstairs and the replays show he had indeed touched the rope. Unlucky! A rare single but the sirens go off, it’s a no-ball! Nothing going Bangladesh’s way.. Parag falls as he tries an ambitious scoop but edges it to Litton behind the stumps! Rinku SIngh is in at six. Taskin over steps yet again and it’s a no ball. Full length this time, Hardik tries to loft and it takes an edge but it doesnt matter as the ball goes past the short third fielder towards the boundary rope. This is the highest-ever team total by a full-member nation in T20IS!

Comedy of errors, it has been that kind of an evening for Bangladesh as they fumble an easy run out chance due to miscommunication between the keeper and the bowler. In the air again, Emon tried his best to get into position but misses. Full toss this time, easy pickings for Hardik as he flicks it for a FOUR! Mahedi to bowl his final over, he replaces Mahmudullah. Single to start the over. Full toss and towards the thigh pad, Parag gets a sweet connection and that’s deposited into the second tier, SIX! Down the leg again and it’s swung away for a FOUR! ANOTHER MASSIVE SIX! It’s raining boundaries in Hyderabad. And with that, India reaches 250

He changes his bowling action slightly and deceived Surya into playing a big shot, only to be caught out! Hardik Pandya is the next batter in. The runs keep coming! On the slot and Parag goes big this time, it’s a SIX!

Mustafizur replaces Taskin. Slower delivery but it doesn’t matter, Fizz tried to cramp Samson for room but he finds a way to flick it for a FOUR! FINALLY! Bangladesh gets a breakthrough via Fizz. Short delivery this time, Samson fails to read the pace and hits it straight to the fielder! Standing ovation from everyone at the venue and he deserves every bit of the praise for the kind of innings he just played! Riyan Parag is in at four. 200 up for India! Surya lofts a half-volley over Mustafizur’s head for a FOUR!

IND vs BAN: Sanju Samson becomes second-fastest Indian to score hundred in T20Is

Sanju Samson became the second-fastest Indian to score a hundred in T20Is during the third T20I match against Bangladesh in Hyderabad on Saturday.

IND 179/1 in 12 overs

Taskin replaces Rishad. Bowls a beamer, it beats both Surya and the keeper, and runs away for a FOUR! Taskin is quick to apologise. Taskin misses the yorker, Surya gets a juicy low full toss and he carves it for a SIX! Slower delivery and it dips sharply, Surya tries a similar shot but misses, dot. Superb excecution from Taskin. He’s found success by bowling across from over the wickets. 13 came from that over

Mahmudullah into the attack, replaces Mahedi. Surya gets to his half century with a double. The 50 came off just 23 balls. Bowlers change but it the Indians don’t seem to care. Full and on the leg stump, Surya makes room and slogs it over midwicket for a SIX! Double to finish the over as Sanju moves to 95

Rishad replaces Mustafizur. 100 partnership comes up as Sanju goes big over the bowlers head for a SIX! ANOTHER ONE! In the slot and Sanju reads it to perfection and smokes it for a SIX! THREE IN A ROW! Lofted straight and the result is the same! UNREAL STUFF! Make it four in a row! Tossed up and in the slot, Sanju says thank you and lofts it for yet another six! FIVE IN A ROW!!! and this time over midwicket! Samson is 92 off just 36 balls. Absolute carnage!

Quicker throught he air this time, Surya tries a slog sweep but it takes an edge, single.

Tanzim gives width, Surya moves toward the line of the ball and smokes it on the onside for a SIX! 19 runs off the over! This is India’s highest-ever powerplay score in T20Is!

Slightly short and angled towards the pads, Abhishek tries to loft on the on side but misses, feeble LBW shouts but nothing from the umpire. One over up, India 7/0
