Ruben Amorim has already proved that age is not an obstacle. Around 27 players made their debuts under his guidance at Sporting CP.
Due to the Red Devils' defensive absentees Amorim called up academy player Godwill Kukonki for the trip to Ipswich. Kukonki is a 16-year-old centre-back and could become the second youngest Manchester United player to make his debut, the first was Angel Gomes.
