Jackie O rushed to hospital while live on air
Radio star Jackie O Henderson has been taken to hospital mid-segment with symptoms of a heart attack.
The 48-year-old radio host was presenting on the Kyle and Jackie O show on Tuesday when she experienced tingling down her arm, a well-known heart attack symptom.

On Monday, Henderson had surgery to remove a uterine polyp - a growth that is attached to the uterus.
Henderson and co-host Kyle Sandilands were about to interview entertainment reporter Angela Bishop when symptoms began.
Sandilands later recalled the scary incident explaining, “She just stepped out for a lay down. She’s got like a corset dress on and she had an operation yesterday.”

He said his co-host had “all these pains down her arm and chest pains before being sent home”.
Sandilands later told listeners Henderson had left the show to go to the hospital.
Earlier in the program, the co-hosts called Dr Sam Hay, whom they refer to as Dr KIIS, to ask about the symptoms.

“But I don’t feel short of breath. I was nauseous before. The pain is dull down the arm.”
Dr Hay encouraged Henderson to seek medical attention if symptoms persisted.
Earlier in the show, the radio presenter had shared some detail about the operation she had undergone the day before.
“Yesterday I had an operation and was under general anaesthetic so I couldn’t sleep during the night,” she said.
“I had a uterine polyp removed. The doctor said it would make my periods more regular.”

In an update posted to the Kyle and Jackie O Instagram page, the team thanked listeners for their concern.
“Jackie is okay,” the message read.
“After a series of tests, Jackie has been treated for an infection and was released from hospital this afternoon.
“She is resting up at home and will be back on air tomorrow morning from 6.
“Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Royal North Shore Hospital.”
