Soap star Jai Evans found dead, aged 43
Soap star Jai Evans has been found dead.
The 43-year-old who appeared in Home and Away in the 1990s, was found dead in an apartment in Sydney on Wednesday, according to reports.
A spokesperson for the NSW Police told the Daily Mail Australia: "Officers from Kings Cross Police Area Command will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner regarding the death of a 43-year-old man at a unit in Darlinghurst on 4 September 2024.
"Police will not be making any further comment about the matter."

Jai's cause of death is unknown, but officers who attended the scene reportedly found 'no apparent suspicious circumstances'.
Evans worked with hundreds of media companies after creating his own PR business, Evans Media, in 2005.
During his brief acting career, he appeared in Home and Away playing the role of a student in 1997.
Tributes have been pouring in online for the popular PR guru.
His friend, Bondi Fitness Instructor Dan Wootton, wrote on Facebook: "RIP Jai Evans. Another beautiful friend taken much too soon before his time.
"Your vibrant energy & eagerness to help was second to none. Rest easy Jai, love you mate."
