Randall Park just joined Ryan Reynolds to pay homage to a classic joke from The Office.
Reynolds, 47, and John Krasinski released a new teaser of their upcoming movie, IF, with help from Park, 49. Ahead of the IF teaser during this Sunday's Super Bowl, audiences received a behind-the-scenes peek of the upcoming film.
The Monday teaser recreates the iconic scene from the NBC series’ season nine episode, “Andy's Ancestry,” when Park poses as Krasinski’s character, Jim Halpert.
During the episode, Jim (Krasinski, 44) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) have their friend Steve (Park) pose as Jim for a prank on Dwight (Rainn Wilson). Throughout the episode, Park’s Jim adamantly declares he’s always been the Jim Dwight has worked with throughout the years. Krasinski's Jim and Pam remove any photos of the actual couple together and provide images of the fake couple to throw Dwight off.

In the new preview, Park again declares he is Krasinski. But this time he insists to Reynolds that he’s always been the IF director and writer.
After Reynolds tells Park, “You’re not John Krasinski. You’re Randall Park,” the Always Be My Maybe star tells him, “Uh, Ryan, I know it’s been a while since we shot, but we spent like four months together, like 10-hour days.”
“Ten-hour days? The real John Krasinski knows I only work four hours a day,” retorts Reynolds. But as he does, Park looks directly at the camera, leading Reynolds to shout, “Did you just break the fourth wall?”
Then, like in The Office, the teaser places Park in Krasinski's spots.
The Fresh Off the Boat star is seen in the director’s chair explaining to the audience that the upcoming movie is about imaginary friends and that he had the "idea for the movie about seven years ago." As the behind-the-scene clips continue, Park laughs, talks and directs the cast and crew.
While Park doesn’t appear in the movie, Krasinski reunited with his former TV boss, Steve Carrell — who voices one of the main imaginary friends.
Alongside Carrell and Reynolds, the live-action and animation film stars Cailey Fleming, who portrays Bea, a young girl who can see other people’s imaginary friends.
The IF cast also includes Jon Stewart, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Maya Rudolph, Sam Rockwell, Christopher Meloni, Richard Jenkins, Awkwafina and Louis Gossett Jr.
