Lady Gaga never fails to impress when it comes to fashion and her red carpet attire for the various premieres of Joker: Folie à Deux lived up to the high expectations the pop star-actor has set at previous events.

In Joker: Folie à Deux, Lady Gaga stars as Harley Quinn opposite Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck/Joker.

The film—which is part jukebox musical and part crime drama—is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster hit Joker, which earned Phoenix a Best Actor Oscar.

Joker: Folie à Deux opens in theaters on Friday. Here’s a look at Lady Gaga’s various fashions from the film’s premieres at the Venice International Film Festival, as well as London and Los Angeles.

Joker: Folie à Deux held its world premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in Venice Italy, where Lady Gaga immediately captured the attention of festivalgoers and photographers.

Lady Gaga’s headdress captured just as much attention as her black ball gown.

Lady Gaga posed on the Venice red carpet with Joker: Folie à Deux director Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix.

Phillips and Phoenix, of course, teamed for the first Joker movie in 2019. In additon to the film’s Best Actor win for Phoenix, Joker also earned an Oscar for Best Original Score for Hildur Guðnadóttir.

Among the film’s 11 overall nominations were nods for Best Picture and a Best Director nod for Phillips.

Before the red carpet event, Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix arrived at the Venice Film Festival by boat, a tradition for the major attendees whose films screen at the festival.

Lady Gaga opted for a red gown for the London premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux, which was held at Cineworld Leicester Square.

Looking at Lady Gaga’s red carpet and photocall looks at the three events, she appeared to be coordinating her style to the colors frequently associated with the character of Harely Quinn in the DC comic books and the film, which are red and black.

According to People, the couple met in 2019 and got engaged in April.

Earlier in the day, Lady Gaga attended the London photocall for Joker: Folie à Deux with Joaquin Phoenix. Gaga topped off her photocall attire with black platform shoes.

The U.S. premiere for Joker: Folie à Deux was held Monday at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, where Lady Gaga went back to black for her premiere attire.

Unlike the previous premieres for the film, the L.A. event featured a black carpet in favor of a red one.
