AFL News 2024: Port Adelaide vs Adelaide, Showdown, Josh ...
Despite the Crows going down to rivals Port Adelaide by 22 points in their round 23 Showdown, it was one act from forward Josh Rachele that had Power fans riled up.
After slotting a crucial goal in the second term to narrow the margin to a single point, the Crow decided to pull out a pretty audacious celebration to attempt to silence the Port Adelaide faithful.
Rachele ran straight to the Power fans and gestured towards his teeth, referring to a controversial take he had made in the days leading up to the match.

The act came after the 21-year-old spoke on radio hinting that Port Adelaide fans "don't have many teeth".
"I did mention before that the Port supporters don't have many teeth," Rachele said on FiveAA radio before the match.

"I shouldn't have said that … I know (it's a Port Adelaide home game)."
However, the lively forward wasn't too worried if he copped backlash, which he most certainly did on the night.
"Nah (I'm not concerned if they boo me). I love it."
Despite Rachele's best efforts, it was the Power who cruised home to victory and look to likely have cemented a spot in the top two, meaning they'll host a home qualifying final in week one.

Rachele kicked just that one goal and had 10 touches in the Crows' loss.
Meantime, Port Adelaide's Dan Houston will face a nervous wait for the MRO's decision on his high bump that left Crow Izak Rankine badly concussed and needing to be stretcher off Adelaide Oval.
