Apart from the scenes involving his coach, Travis Kelce has done little in this match. He had just one reception for one yard in the first half. It’s the last thing anyone expected. He just picked up nine yards with a reception. That’s at least something. 49ers lead 10-3

According to reliable sources, Usher’s outfit is by Dolce & Gabbana, the same designer Kylie Minogue wore to accept her Grammy for Padam Padam last week. Of course, Dolce & Gabbana has had a tricky recent history due to allegations of racism, bullying and homophobia against its founders.

It also seemed Usher was channelling another controversial figure in Michael Jackson, thanks to the single glove he wore with his look, which he progressively removed over the course of the 15-minute performance.

The Confessions singer, whose new album dropped today, has had a busy month in fashion, appearing in a campaign for Skims, the underwear and shapewear brand owned by Kim Kardashian.

For those playing fashion bingo, Alicia Keys’ outfit is also by Dolce & Gabbana. So make that fashion’s equivalent of a touchdown.

Usher is done. The Chiefs don’t look too far away. A shocking fumble from Isiah Pacheco and Kansas City are going backwards once again. Luckily they’ve held onto the ball. But wait, there’s worse to come. Mahomes throws an interception and the Niners are delighted. A touchdown here and they’re well on the way to victory. 49ers lead 10-3

Usher has finished his halftime show, and despite our high hopes that Justin Bieber might pop up on stage, it didn’t happen. Does that matter? Maybe. Was it still good? Yes. Does Usher have a lot of hits? Definitely. Will I be able to dance like that in my mid-40s? Not a chance.

I mean, we all knew it was coming, but watching Usher, Ludacris, and Lil Jon sing, Yeah! was exactly what the audience deserved. Bit sad that they took the roller skates off for this one though.
