Kate Middleton Wears Princess Diana's Pearl Earrings to the Annual ...
The British royal family was out in full force at the annual Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall—including Kate Middleton, who has slowly begun to return to work after announcing she had finished chemotherapy.
For the solemn occasion, which is just her fourth public appearance of the year, the Princess of Wales wore an all black outfit, accessorizing with a pearl drop necklace and pearl earrings. The necklace appears to be her "Nura" pearl necklace from Monica Vinader (which retails for just $186!), and her earrings seem to be Princess Diana's Collingwood pearl and diamond earrings—a pair that Kate has worn on numerous occasions. She completed her outfit with a crimson poppy pin, as all royals wear during the month of November.

The Princess of Wales was joined by her husband, Prince William, who recently returned from South Africa—where his annual Earthshot Awards took place—and other Windsors, including King Charles, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, and Princess Anne. Queen Camilla was not in attendance as she recovers from a chest infection. Buckingham Palace said this morning, "this is a source of great disappointment to The Queen, she will mark the occasion privately at home and hopes to return to public duties early next week."

This year's Festival of Remembrance "will honour the service of, and the sacrifices made by, British Armed Forces personnel: those who served in the past and those currently serving," per the British Legion. It will also commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, along with recognizing "those who served and currently serve in Kosovo 25 years after the deployment of NATO peacekeeping force."
Kate has attended the Festival of Remembrance event a total of eight times, including today's appearance. Last year, she wore what appeared to be Queen Elizabeth's three-strand pearl necklace. Tomorrow, Kate and the rest of royal family will be in attendance again for Remembrance Sunday, the national memorial service at The Cenotaph in London.
